Hope your Christmas was blessed!
The ranch purchased some roping heifers and a roping chute this month! Matt and Lisa spent the beginning of the month setting up the chute, the roping boxes, and the stripping chute! It was so much fun to finally have it finished and be able to practice team roping! Two days after we finished ...it snowed! So now we have to wait a bit longer to use it again!
We have continued to work the young horses- Matt has been riding Dakotah and Sage. Lisa has been riding Baylee and Nadia (aka Pink). Isaac has been riding Barbwire and Ashley.
The CCC cows and steers had a visit from Paul. He preg checked the cows- only one is open which means all heifers are pregnant except one! We will be having some of our own babies this spring!! All the cattle were dewormed and vaccinated.
If we don't see you in the future we'll see you in the pasture.
